Hello

Hey and welcome to my blog.  I bet I’m the first that’s ever started off with that

Since brewing and blogging are both new to me, what better way to document my ‘BrewingExperiment’ than on a blog.  I am starting my blogging adventure, well, now. I’ve never felt the need to publish my thoughts on the web before now.  Why, do you ask, did I decide to do it now….well, why not?  I wanted to be able to look back after my tenth batch of beer and see how much I’ve progressed in this brewery hobby of mine, for one.

My hop into the home brewing world will begin this weekend when I brew my first batch of homebrew.  I will go into more detail on that in a later post.    The batch I’m brewing is an ale, in the style of “Sierra Nevada’s Anniversary Ale’.  Wonder how close to that ‘in the style of…’ my batch will be?  My guess, heh, it will be liquid and hopefully fermented.  Is that close enough?  Even if it isn’t anywhere near the Anniversary Ale, it will be a fun afternoon and I’m really looking forward to it…
